2. Data we process
We process only the data strictly necessary to provide the service:
- Browsing data: IP address (anonymized where technically possible), browser and device type, operating system, language, pages viewed, time on page, referrer, and data derived from cookies and similar technologies.
- Data provided voluntarily: what you send us by email (name, email and the content of your message).
- Advertising and affiliate data: identifiers and browsing data collected by advertising and affiliate providers embedded in the site (Google AdSense, Amazon Associates), with your prior consent.
We do not request special categories of data. We do not process data of children under 13.

4. Retention periods
- Browsing data and cookies: during the lifetime of each cookie (see Cookies Policy). Derived data is retained according to each provider's policies (for example, Google Analytics 4 retains events for up to 14 months by default).
- Emails: for the time needed to resolve your inquiry and any legal retention period applicable to communications.
- Records with tax or accounting effects: during the periods required by applicable law.
5. Recipients and processors
To deliver the service we use providers that act as processors or as independent controllers. The main ones are:
- Hosting and CDN provider (site hosting and static content delivery).
- Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC (Google Analytics, Google AdSense and related services).
- Amazon.com, Inc. and affiliates (Amazon Associates Program, affiliate links).
- Email provider to manage incoming communications.
We do not sell or transfer your data to third parties for commercial purposes. We will only disclose it where there is a legal obligation, a request from a competent authority or express user consent.
6. International transfers
Some of the providers indicated above (in particular Google) may process data outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. These transfers are made under applicable adequacy decisions (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the UK extension) and, where appropriate, under Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or the UK Information Commissioner's Office and additional technical safeguards.

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability at any time, as well as withdraw any consent given, by writing to hello@topdogchoice.com with subject "Data protection". To help us verify your identity, please indicate which right you want to exercise.
If you believe the processing is not in line with applicable regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss or alteration, in line with article 32 of the GDPR. The site is always served over HTTPS.
